Located right by Fudan University and Wujiaochang, Fudan Crowne Plaza is absolutely impeccable. Very new, clean, and well designed, it just looks really nice. Service is attentive and solid across the board, with staff displaying good English skills. The buffets in the restaurant are quite good quality with a multitude of Western and Chinese offerings. Having stayed twice I can honestly say I have no complaints other than feeling a little strange since the hotel isn't overflowing with visitors -- many times the crowd is sparse, but this leads to better service and more comfort in regards to not having to jostle for a table at the restaurants or in the lobby. In regards to facilities, the gym is adequate and well maintained, and the hotel also boasts an indoor pool. If you're looking for a very nice hotel in Yangpu district, search no further -- Fudan Crowne Plaza is a stand-up option.
