This place kicks ass. In addition to awesome food and great tunes (they'll let you plug in your ipod and play DJ), Helens's also has lethal buckets of whisky and coke and free cigarettes.
the atmosphere is awesome, a perfect place to chill and relax. they allow wall drawing, selling english books, well, the food was good too. I had helens pizza & tuna salad that day, & was pretty impressed by the serving and taste! yup its a place where I would thought of going when im free (Y)
A most welcome change to flocking to Starbucks in the afternoon. With an 'island' and almost anarchy-like atmosphere, Helen's is a great way to kick back and forget that you live in a city of almost 20 million people. It doesn't get packed until about 9pm, and they have a great 16RMB hamburger/sandwich and fries deal before 6pm. If you're in the area, be sure to check it out!
