As the name implies, the school specializes in traditional style kung fu. You can learn anything from Shaolin style kung fu to Zhang Xing Yi, which was created by the school’s Master, Zhang Shengli. Classes take place at the very accessible Ritan park and the secluded Wangfujing Courtyard.
I've been going here for 6 months now and I love it. Zhang style Kung Fu is both beautiful and powerful. The teachers are patient experts and their English is very good. Master Zhang is a true Kung Fu Master and modern calligrapher. He has been a lead instructor for the special forces of the Beijing Police Academy, performed for the UN in Chicago and been featured on the BBC, NBC and CCTV. Instructor Zhang Yuxuan is the two-time China Lightweight Men's Sanda Boxing Champion and a fifth-degree black belt with a specialization in internal martial arts. Instructor Zhao Yulong is a graduate of Shaolin Temple and is the 2006 China Men's champion of hand and weapons forms. He was a performer in the 2008 Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremony. Instructor Xue Handong is a specialist in Chen, Yang and Wu style Taichi, with expertise in "Moving Fingers" Qigong.
