English map for Sundan > Sanlitun Village

This Shenzhen electronics and appliance chain debuts in Beijing with three floors of all imported goodies. Sundan is home to the first open electronic market in the city, so shoppers can try every single gadget in the store. Each floor is clearly marked and products are organized by their function, making Sundance the most navigable electronics store in town. The staff, mostly college students, are helpful and speak English. Prices are fixed so there’s no bargaining. Other services include free delivery, pre-purchasing options and member-card services.

This is THE solution to all your Bai Nao Hui or Zhong Guan Cun woes. If you develop a rash at the idea of spending 3 hours bartering for a piece of electronics only to get a 10% discount over list price, with no serious warranty or certainty regarding the origin of the product, then SUNDAN IS YOUR SOLUTION! I have been living in Beijing for a year now and, as I am a bit of a geek, was dismayed by the electronics store offerings: yesterday's products, overpriced, without decent warranties. Now, the Apple Store and Sundan have brought a smile to my face. I bought Mako Razer speakers and, only last weekend, a Canon EOS 500D camera at Sundan - both of which are very hard to find anywhere else in Beijing (the 500D isn't even out in the States). Their product offering is extensive, high end and state of the art. The prices are also excellent - in fact, identical to what I would have paid in HK. With that, you get a rock solid warranty and help from friendly staff who can speak some English (and that's always a plus!). I can't recommend it highly enough.
