This impressive example of innovative architecture includes two parts. The Village South has popular high-street fashion brands like Uniqlo, Steve Madden, Esprit, Mango, the Apple Store and Adidas’ flagship store, as well as 30 restaurants and a multi-plex cinema. The more upscale Village North is home to a number of high end labels and local designer boutiques, including Emporio Armani, Comme des Garcons, Balenciaga and Shanghai Trio.
After a year of being away I returned to Sanlitun village with much excitement , seeing what has be displayed in the center court is always a sight seers place to check out. Today how ever a mist the rain one would see the apple store having vendors standing 10 feet from the doors trying to sell un official phones to their customers. Quite the opposite to the way it was 1 year ago..so my question is ...fake verses original ...and further more interesting to see that they are allowed to stand their ...shouldn't some one wake up?
Wow seeing all the good remarks on this place, I visited, trust me it's worth it. If you want to live a day like like you were back at the US, this is definitely the place to go. However, if you want a taste of China, don't go there. I love the Cold Stone Ice-cream shop the BEST. Great but expensive ice-creams in there!!! ;)
This is perhaps the best place in Beijing for hanging around or for a coffee meeting with someone or for a quick shopping or a eat out. The eat out has choices of American,Chinese,Vietnamese,Indian,Japanese,Hongkong and so on. New many shops have opened recently, and more bars like Stumble Inn. Love this place.
Thanks to Sanlitun village for support of our annual fund raiser - some pictures from one of the enthusiastic guests, we had over 600 people attend, http://www.flickr.com/photos/dragonpreneur/sets/72157623207352922/

i love this place)))
I find this place difficult to navigate. Then again, I'm the girl who gets lost in malls.
This will be the NEXT BIG THING after the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Been to this area....very VERY Impressed! This place is just like a One-Stop staion for entertainment, fashion, cafe, restaurants... NICE!
The vision for The Village takes its lead from the surrounding Sanlitun area, The Village will be a multi-faceted community, created by people for people. Mixing fashion with dining and arts with entertainment The Village aims to become a place where locals and visitors can live, work and play.
