This aquarium is home to thousands of fish, turtles and other underwater creatures. It's also crammed with children on weekends. Highlights include an unforgettable Amazonian Arapaima and daily seal and dolphin shows. Kids enter for free.
Loved the beluga whales. The jellyfish section's not bad at all. I didn't see any sharks like in the photo above, but I'm pretty sure we saw the whole place. It's definitely a decent aquarium, but it's better to walk around while there's a dolphin show going on, because the place empties out completely. I have to admit, I preferred the Shanghai Aquarium with all of its cool underwater tunnels and its scary giant crabs. I also would have liked to see more moray eels -- I only saw one. But I wasn't disappointed, and I was very happy with all the jellyfish, which is what I wanted to see the most.
One of my fav spots in Beijing! But get there early to avoid the lines!
**Beijing Aquarium** Absolutely superb!
