I had difficult curly hair and thanks to Lucas @CDF I've the best hair I've ever had!! I am from Italy and not even in my hometown I've found such a good hairdresser! Prices are european... and quality is worth it!!
I don't even know how to rate this salon. Stylists come and go ALL the time. I feel like there are issues at the salon, not sure what they are, but stylists leave all the time... That said, only the American girl (who is no longer there) ever did a good job on my hair. I bring my formulas to other colorists there and they STILL can't manage to do a good job. It's DECENT but it's not good. It's not worth 200 USD that is for sure, but in Beijing what are my other options for blonde hair?
Where have all the foreigners gone? I only see the chinese personals there...and Catherine herself... heard something about that it has been sold?!??!?!
If I could give negative stars, I would. Several weeks ago I went to C. de Franc in the old Nali Patio to get my hair straightened before I went home for a wedding (that I was part of). Firstly, the price was double what I paid at a local Chinese salon that I went to 2 years ago who did a wonderful job (shouldn't have strayed) and secondly, their "deep conditioning" involved putting conditioner in my hair and wrapping it in a towel for 2 minutes. Ridiculous. The results were heinous. The entire bottom half of my hair was completely fried to the point that I literally looked like a hay-stack. Desperate to do something before the wedding I shelled out a fortune for two cuts and a hair treatment (all of which the C. de France receptionist said they could do nothing about). C. de France was hot and cold to begin with but after their terrible job, faux conditioning treatment that was a blatant rip off, and their unwillingness to fix their mistake, I will absolutely never go back and urge anyone and everyone to try any salon but this one. -5 stars.
Please dont go to this place, last time I was there I wanted to colored my hair, I ended up looking like a russian prostitute, it was died in a dreadful way, since I was traveling I didnt have time to come back to get it fixed, two weeks later I looked more or less like an middle eastern woman that wants to look blonde, yes, you know excacly what I mean. I went back and had it colored brown, total cost, around 1500 RMB for both treatments.
Can someone give me an idea about the pricing? Cut ? Color ? Blow-dry? Thanks so much!
I love the new salon in Shunyi and the American hairdresser s great! She gave me a total new fresh look I love it so much! so glad to have such a good international hair salon in beijing!

Being new to a totally foreign city in a far away country is never easy. You have to find supermarkets, find your way around, learn the language, and get used to the vibe. I had my hair cut before I left germany over 2 months ago, so my hair was in desperate need of a cut and color. My german friends recommended c. de france, so I gave it a try. I was very nervous, afraid that they would make my color yellow and give me a bad cut. I went to Kris, he was very kind and patient and really took time to listen and gave me very good advices on my color and cut. He also gave me an estimated price of what it would cost, along with other alternatives. He spoke really good english, and I found out that he was born in Sweden. The service was very nice, I could feel the hairdressers enjoyed working with each other, but the most important, I left the salon with an immaculate cut and color! I was so happy! And the price was what he had said it would be, no hidden prices. Now there's another load off my shoulder, I know for sure now that my hair is in good hands. Just have to find everything else on my to-do list!!
now Catherine de France open a new salon in Riviera Plaza 2nd floor with my favorite hairstylist Christian . It s nice salon i love it and for me its very confortable i live in riviera They can do all for my hair and waxing too its great Yesterday i was there for color highlights traitement and cut and blow dry . And now like also in sanlitun they have Nespresso ! it was only my time yesterday there without husband childs ( they can comming another time.;; )like a queen !!!! And i had charge my VIP card now all is easy god save C de France !
Firstly I did not want to say negative story but I have to complete these too perfect reviews. Because I went there exactly due to these comments... So, I went there with a mediocre hair cutting for a little help. I asked Cedric (one of the most recommended hairdresser in topics) to fix my hair. The special shampoo/cut/blow dry were 680 yuan. I guess they just simply forgot the 20 per cent off. Altough I get two card to get lower price from the NEXT cutting if I recommend them to my friends.... Hmmm. But not this is the problem. Now I have an absolutely bad hair. I asked for an easy to handle, exact cutting. But I get "here long, there sort" ugly ends. Even if I put it up in a pony tail - to cover the mistakes- it is still terrible, totally shapeless. I told the stylist that it is still unfinished and I do not like if it's longer in front. He said it is not longer (but it is!) and that he will check it again during the dry blowing. (He did not check and the whole cutting was no more than 5 minutes ) Cedric was really kind anyway- but it is still not enough for a good hair and this price is not reasonable for this performance. :-/

my favorite hairstylist is in hollidays in france and in stage may be he ll come back in october but for me no mystake because there is a good staff with catherine and cedric i was there last time and i was happy it was a good time but now i know than the staff is so good he is very lucky christian to have this long hollidays
Good place to relax and unwind for the week. Nice music, good staff and they'll even buy food for u upon request :) Now comes the sad story... I went in for a straightening perm, and came out with 50% of perfect hair, and another 50% of burnt ends. I would've appreciated if they informed me my hair was too weak to take the perm, or maybe washed off the perming lotion in stages based on the hair condition! What pissed me off was that the local stylist insisted it wasn't his fault (my hair was too weak), and that we could snip off the ends if I didn't like the frizzed hair! I'm still hating the way my hair looks & feel every morning... Christian my stylist was very appologetic and even offered to trim the frizzy parts for free, but I just had a massive 4 to 5 inches trim the week before... so guess I wait for it to grow... For RMB 2000, I certainly didn't expect a mistake like this to happen, cos we're actually paying for assurance for a job well done!
The salon is ok. I've been there a couple times and to be honest the only thing that has amazed me has been their prices...starting May 1st, their prices increased significantly. I've gotten my brows done there and the results have been mediocre. Of course, sin Beijing lacks much choices when it comes to beauty salons-- I will be going there again this weekend for a haircut...
I was here friday 20 for a facial camille did for me a good facial with a good massage in a plaisant room upstairs the reception with a good music relax time and phytomer french products go there and after tall me ! and she is so cut!!!!!!!!!

before four month i go here for my hair and the beauty my stylist christian is great it s french guy and i work before a long time for jacques dessange i like a lot of things and the first is the style i have goods time here next month they will have oxygen bar like in japan or other country i want to take somme oxygen !!!!!!
Really good Hair Salon! I just had my hair cut - he really listened to what i want in terms of how much time i have to spend on sorting out my hair in the morning - and he just cut it - perfectly. He also recommended some colour and that turned out fine too! Only 4 stars though as usually the hair wash in the beginning is the best part (for me anyway) and actually the wash was a little...lackluster. But with that said i will be recommending this place!
Great feeling! Beijing’s cold and dry season. And I try C. de france’s beauty parlor, my skin looks in perfect condition with professional body and facial treatments.From now on, my face and body will be in safe.

I agree with upstairs! It's a really good place to relax and every Fridays the salon will give a glass of red wine also to every client! I recommend my favorate stylist is Lea! She's very professional in hair syling for ladies. Her style is pretty natural, fashionable and very easy to handle. You can handle your hair at home after her cutting.
Oh, this salon is very fantastic! The environment is very comfortable and make you very relax! I have been there before a couple of times and I like it very much! The stylists there are perfessional and enthusiastic! My favoratie hair dresser is Catherine!
