Temporarily closed. Standing amidst chuan'r stands and fruit vendors, this spacious, airy eatery (it's actually built in the front courtyard of a Buddhist temple) delights all the senses with soothing lighting, meditative music, courtyard seating and tasty food. Try a few of their imitation meat dishes, you'll swear it's the real thing.
we used your magazine to pick a vegetarian restaurant.the description said rabbits running in the yard and former buddhist temple.well, the place was very interesting but no rabbits.food was good thought a bit pricey.the problem was the toilet,it was still the hole in the ground type.my mother, who is 84,couldn't use it.so the dinner was not savored as we couldn't linger.she couldn't wait to use the toilet in our hotel.suggestion:put a sign on the restaurant page to indicate what type of toilets are available.
After trying Bodhi-Sake's amazing mock meat dishes, such as the delectable Quan Ju De Mock Peking Duck, meat will forever taste like a cheap counterfeit of Bodhi-Sake's tofu magic. Be sure to walk around the temple, library, and art studio behind the restaurant. Couples can ensure an eternity of conjugal bliss by hanging wooden cards from the sacred tree in the garden.
