English map for Cepe

The Ritz-Carlton's flagship Italian eatery offers authentic northern Italian cuisine in a modern, stark white, trendy setting. In line with its name, Cepe specializes in dishes featuring mushrooms grown in the house humidor, complemented by a deep wine list, exquisite desserts, and terrifically attentive service.

Excellent Italian food. I got an amazing experience here, one of the best italian products i ever tried and also the more attentive service. A bit pricey. Not for every week but for every month. Nice ambiance.

Absolutely superb in every way. You should be prepared to spend a LOT of money at Cepe, but you should also be prepared to have the kind of meal you'll remember your whole life. I've been here twice for the annual white truffle promotion, and the food just blows me away. Even the complimentary bread and dips are exceptional. The risotto here is the best I've ever had, with a texture I've never experienced elsewhere. And lobster with white truffle, with julienned bell peppers and carrot -- worth the RMB715 price tag. You'll wonder how you'll go back to eating normal food again after a meal like this. Service is very impressive, and the ambiance is lovely. Despite the price, the restaurant was doing very well on a Wednesday night, with all local clientele. Highly recommended for a very special splurge.

Nice setting and amazing food. 5 cources first i had foie gras.. very good, followed by veal carpaccio with poached quail egg, presentation was nice some more full of flavour. Third,Parmesan Rissoto was a classic dish topped with sliced mushroom. The star tonight from Chef Iraci was braised wagyu beef cheeck with golden polenta beautifully done! To finished my meal, little 'tasting platter' that consist of mango ice cream, seasonal fruit salad, and home made tiramisu. Well done!!

Chic little restaurant at the Ritz Carlton. I went during lunch on a Sunday when it was empty, but hey Sunday lunches are always like that. I had an appetizer of foi gras and salmon which came out to about 800RMB, but for the atmosphere and cozyness it was worth it and quite lovely. Beautiful decor, good place to take friends and out for a date. Service was VERY attentive.

Cepe is a fantastic restaurant and is worth braving the trek out to financial street. The food is delicious, the service excellent and there are some very handsome Italians who might come out and charm you. Add a glass of wine and you'll be swooning in no time. Sigh. What I'd give to be there right now.

**Waiter help, something is growing on my food as well** I had a great dinner experience, which they decided to end it with a complimentary chocolate, I am not sure whether I was lucky or not. I split the chocolate in half and in it white fungus was definitely growing in the food as well. I told this to their restaurant manager or waiter whatever, no response, disappointing for such a classic resto though. Moral is mushroom grows freshly on the food as well, look well, or you wouldnt know where it might struck your stomach. And is their "in-house" grown mushroom federal approved or something?
